This critical infrastructure upgrade, vital for easing congestion, improving safety, and supporting freight and local traffic, has been bogged down by bureaucratic delays and heritage complications, with no construction in sight. The Coalition’s inaction has left the region saddled with a deteriorating bridge costing $1.5 million annually to maintain, betraying the needs of farmers, businesses, and residents who rely on this lifeline for their livelihoods and daily lives.
